We had a beautiful day for Stearns County’s Kids to Parks Day at Quarry Park on May 16th. CMAS had a table with information about our organization, a bird coloring table and Nature Bingo Game for kids, and led bird walks for kids and their adults after the two raptor presentations. Jackie Fallon from the Mayo Clinic Peregrine Falcon Program brought Echo the Peregrine Falcon and Juliet the American Kestrel, as well as sharing fascinating information about raptors. In addition, there were a variety of stations set up throughout the park for exploration.
