Central Minnesota Audubon Society encompasses an area covering all of Benton County and parts of Stearns, Morrison, Sherburne, Wright, Meeker, Todd, Mille Lacs and Isanti counties. There are many beautiful areas in central Minnesota to explore – county parks, state parks and many other public lands with diverse populations of plants and wildlife.

Great Backyard Bird Count
Saturday, February 14th was a lovely day for a bird outing, and 13 people participated in CMAS’s group for the Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC). We were one of 425 community bird events worldwide as of Sunday at 10:00 am. We met at the Beaver Island Trail, where there is a chance to see waterfowl
