Thanks to all who participated in the recent Buckthorn Busting event at Rockville County Park. It was a very fitting tribute to all the conservation work of John and Linda Peck.
We had a great turnout! We are very grateful to those with lots of experience and those who participated for the first time. A special thanks to all the partner organizations that promoted this event to their members and to Dr. Angela McDonnel for telling her students about this. Congratulations to Hank and Lisa for organizing as well as Jean for her help and to Stearns County Parks for the tools provided. A special thanks to John & Linda Peck for their participation.
